Artist Statement
Megan is a water-media artist living in North Carolina. From the mountains to the sea Megan finds inspiration from the beauty of the natural landscape.
“ I like the idea of the viewer making a personal connection with my paintings.
By evoking memories of past experiences the viewer is able to identify the time,
place and meaning relevant to them."
Megan has a fine arts degree from Ohio Wesleyan University. She spent many years in the classroom as a credentialed Montessori teacher and art instructor, inspiring and taking inspiration from, her students.
